    Purchased this item for a spare at work. Does exactly the same job as an original one from HTC which is being sold at 10 times the price. Good quality and at this price, you cant go wrong.

    Having read other reviews, did some homework. The Hero unfortunately has a HTC specific plug, any other type such as micro or mini USB are not correct, however you may be able to get one to work.

    Unfortunately i brought this as a micro usb lead due to a previous review however it is not. It is a mini usb to standard.

    This item is NOT for a HTC Hero, it is simply a micro USB and not the correct charger, unfortunately the seller only had a 7 day window for a return, so i couldn’t return the item, but as it is just a micro USB, you can use it for cameras PS3 controllers etc..
