Goggle Nexus One Uncovered With A January Release Date

We have heard some rumours that the highly guarded Google mobile phone will soon be making its first appearance, as early as the 5th Jan next year. Google, are still denying that this mobile phone exists and are being very hush hush about it all. So, it seem that Google will very soon actually have there own mobile phone that can truly be called a Google mobile phone called the Nexus One.

This rumour comes in the form of a “tweet” from a little social networking site you may have heard of -- Twitter, by someone who claims to work for Google. We have even been treated to a sneaky look at a image of the Nexus One mobile phone. So, what can we expect from the Google phone? Well it will being using the 1GHz Snapdragon processor that was also used in the recently released HTC HD2 mobile phone. The Google Nexus One get rid of the 4.3 Inch screen in favour of a more compact 3.7 Inch screen. Oh, and we forgot to mention that this mobile phone will also have a OLED screen, which, for people like me who are not in the know (i looked in up today) it means better screen resolution and more importantly improved efficiency.

Nexus One Rumours

The Google mobile phone is said to incorporate a 5.0 mega pixel camera built in, which is better than what the iPhone has to offer and is going to run on Android 2.1 which was rumoured as a minor update to Android 2.0 that boasted a unified email inbox, SMS and MMS search, improved camera controls, better keyboard layout and double tap page zooming to name but some of the more important changes.In terms of specifications, this is all I know at the moment.

HTC Nexus One Phone Revealed FFC

Thanks to a FFC release, we know that the Nexus One is made in Taiwan and supports quad-band GSM/Edge and UMTS/HSDPA networks, as well as tri-band 850/1700/1900 networks -- we are assuming, but do not know for definate that this mobile phone will be made by HTC. We also found a report on Fox Business News which said that phone may cost $1000 when it is released in the US on the 5th of Jan.
